Part Number Settings
The Part Number Settings mode enables the user to determine how parts database records are grouped in the Insert Symbol By Part Number dialog, and determine how record updates are handled.
| Setting | Description |

| Part Selection Tree | Drag-and-drop the values in the Current grouping and Available part database fields to assign the grouping. |
| Only Main parts database | Enable this option to update only the main parts database when part records are modified. |
| Main parts database and current project | Enable this option to update the main parts database and the current project when part records are modified. |
| Main parts database and all projects | Enable this option to update the main parts database and all projects when part records are modified. |
